Hi Andre. The courts aren’t in great shape. As you know - there is only one dedicated court and we have temp nets to use on one of the tennis courts to create 2 more courts - however the temp nets are all in rough shape. We stopped using the courts for open play in the mornings when the summer camp began, and for the moment - we continue to go to Point Road in Marion - however it’s far from just Mattapoisett people who play there at that time - we regularly have about 16+ people there on Tuesday/Thursday am. Once the weather gets cold everybody will pretty much move inside. I can’t really speak to what’s happening on Tuesday/Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings at the Mattapoisett court - I only ever scheduled open play for Tues/Thurs am.

There is a group of us playing on Tuesdays at 4pm, we had lessons at that time and kept going. It's not on player lineup as none of us are admins for the app. There have been no problems using courts then. If people want to play we'll be there.

You don’t have to be an admin to put something on Player Line up. Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays are Pickleball “Open Play” sessions per Mattapoisett Rec. I take responsibility for scheduling those morning sessions since I tend to play in the mornings - but you are certainly welcome to set up open play sessions on Tuesday and/or Thursday afternoons, or Saturdays for that matter. Because the kids camp takes over the tennis courts at 9:30 till noon Mon - Friday we don’t have have enough time to play in the AMS from June-August which is why we’ve temporarily moved our morning open play to Point Road in Marion
