Hi Jennifer, not much action for open play in Mattapoisett yet this season. The best place to play nearby, weather permitting, is in Fairhaven….either Livesey Park or the PB courts at Fort Phoenix. There is generally play everyday in the morning 8-noon ish and at 5pm. I generally play in the morning so can’t speak to how many show up for the late afternoon/early evening play.

Hi Rick, historically Tuesday/Thursday evenings are when the Rec Dept says there are/can be open play sessions but nobody has scheduled them regularly and I think it’s pretty hit or miss. Sometimes groups of 4 show up and just want to play with each other so people showing up for “open plays” can’t play. You can schedule something on player line up and see what happens. For the last few years I have taken responsibility for setting up Tues/Thurs morning sessions on player line up because I typically like to play in the morning.
